4 INGREDIENT ORANGE SALMON
Super simple and super delicious baked salmon recipe. A delicious combination of sweet and salty flavors in this light orange salmon, which is prepared with only 4 ingredients.
I got this absolutely gorgeous piece of salmon last week, and I couldn't wait to do it. I decided to go as simple as possible, because, as I said, I did not know when I needed to do this. (It turns out that I was given 40 minutes, which was enough to cook, but barely enough to take a picture.)
This recipe is as simple as mixing the ingredients of the sauce in a bowl and then baking salmon with it. Easy-peasy and oh so delicious!
I tried something new with this recipe. The seafood lady in the store recommended that I first bake the skin of the salmon for 5-7 minutes, and then turn over and bake the skin to the end. This is exactly what I did.
What he does is help oils and juices get into salmon meat, and not onto a baking sheet. This gives salmon meat more flavor. To make this experiment a little more convincing, I will try to make it again without sauce, but only with salt and pepper. Thus, I will try only salmon, not sauce.
Ingredients
1 pound of salmon skin per
1 orange zest and juice
1 orange juice
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of honey
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 and line the baking sheet with parchment paper, folding the edges to preserve the sauce.
- Combine 2 orange juice, 1 orange zest, soy sauce and honey in a bowl. Whisk well.
- Pour a few tablespoons of sauce onto the prepared pan. Put salmon skin and pour over the remaining sauce.
- Bake for about 7 minutes and gently flip the salmon skin. Put some sauce on top of salmon.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until salmon is ready. Baking time will depend on the size and thickness of the salmon filet.
- Enjoy salmon over rice or quinoa.
